Being published for being thankful

I have read, and am now rereading “One Thousand Gifts”, a book on thankfulness.

Changed my way of thinking about “giving thanks in all things”  (1 Thess. 5:17-18 “pray without ceasing, ) give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”.)

I wrote to the website for the book and shared an experience that my husband and I had last month in Hawaii, and guess what?  They published my “gift”.  You can see it at:

Passion, prayer and intelligence

Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.”

Do you love the Lord with all your passion, prayer and intelligence?
Tell HIM.  Speak to HIM, and tell HIM how much you love HIM.Now….
Who are you praying for today?  Stop and think about it.  If you took a moment to think about everyone you know who needs prayer right now, who comes to mind first?
Commit today to praying for them, calling them, maybe going by and seeing them.Love them like you love the Lord.
