Dear Friend, Home in the Truest Sense

Well, I finally did it.  I read the article that you thought maybe you had upset me by sending.
As I sit here, eyes burning, mascara running down my face, and snot a plenty, I just want to say thank you friend.
Thanks for loving me enough to know that although the tears might come, and although it might take me to a place that gets a bit uncomfortable, it also allows me a moment of “home”…in the truest sense of the word.  Because, isn’t home really where the heart is?
I miss her really badly at this moment, but that is not a bad thing, and although I never want my kids to live in the place called grief, I do want to know that somehow I impacted their lives enough to be ok with missing me, and still finding joy in the moments of memory!

Faith that moves mountains

Mark and I, along with a few others, have begun to pray the impossible! (Many will think we are crazy, and some will say that DON”T want us to pray this way) We are praying for COMPLETE restoration of the body. To come back as one church, and go through the process of healing. I really believe that if the community saw this, the entire community could come to Christ as a result of the testimony of HIS miracles. If we just have the faith of a mustard seed, HE can move this mountain!!!

Passion, prayer and intelligence

Matthew 22:37
Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.”

Do you love the Lord with all your passion, prayer and intelligence?
Tell HIM.  Speak to HIM, and tell HIM how much you love HIM.Now….
Who are you praying for today?  Stop and think about it.  If you took a moment to think about everyone you know who needs prayer right now, who comes to mind first?
Commit today to praying for them, calling them, maybe going by and seeing them.Love them like you love the Lord.
